2017 Ground Regulations

Sheffield Eagles RLFC reserve the right of admission to all home fixtures.

All matches will be played in accordance with the rules and regulation of The Rugby Football League and their respective laws of the game.

All fixtures are subject to change & play cannot be guaranteed to take place on any particular day or at any particular time. The respective club management reserve the right to change its advertised fixtures without notice or liability.

The Club Management reserve the right to refuse admission to, or eject from the ground any person who refuses to be searched by any servant or agent of the club.

Fireworks, smoke canisters, knives, bottles, glasses, cans, flags, banners, poles or similar articles or containers which be used as a weapon or missile are not permitted within the ground and may be confiscated.

‘Drums’ and other musical instruments are permitted within the stadium but Sheffield Eagles must be informed of their intended presence and use at said fixture, 14 days prior, in writing

The throwing of any object within the ground is strictly forbidden.

It is an offence to use, foul, abusive, obscene, racist or homophobic language within the ground. Any individual(s) found to be using such language will be ejected from the ground. 

Unauthorised persons are strictly forbidden from entering upon the field of play unless advised to do so in an emergency. Individuals entering upon the field of play without permission with be charged with aggravated trespass. 

The obstruction of gangways, access ways, exits & entrances, stairways and other such places is forbidden, as such is prolonged standing in seated areas.

The climbing of floodlights, stands or any other structure or other apparatus within the ground is strictly forbidden.

Any person(s) found to be damaging or defacing property would be prosecuted.

Any person(s) failing to comply with the instructions from club staff, steward(s) or other authorised agents may be ejected from the ground.

All young persons have a right to be safe and enjoy sport at SHU Sports Park. Please ensure all children under the age of 16 are accompanied by a responsible and consenting adult. In the event of an incident involving a junior spectator, the accompanying adult will be held totally responsible.

All club staff members who oversee the duty and care of any children under the age 16 are DBS checked and have the relevant certification.

All children aged 5 or under can be given free admission to the ground. All children under the age of five must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Any person attempting to gain admission to, or being found within, a section of the Ground designated for 'Members Only' without the appropriate authorisation or documentation may be ejected from the Ground.

With the exception of persons authorised by the Club Management and Press Representatives holding official passes, the taking of photographs, cine photography or video footage inside the Ground is prohibited. In addition, recording for Radio, Television, Internet or for private purposes, whether for transmission or otherwise, is not permitted except with special authorisation in writing by the Club Management.

The stadium management reserve the right for its servants and agents to remove from the ground any person who does not comply with these ground regulations, the rules and regulations of The Rugby Football League or who presence within the ground is or could reasonably be construed a source of danger, nuisance or annoyance to any person(s).
